About Me
Welcome, writer! I'm Alder (Ash) Van Otterloo (they/he), and I get excited about stories. Deep in my gut, I believe sharing our lives and imaginations is key to creating a web of empathy within the global collective. ​

We've been sharing tales since long before books existed. Every person is a storyteller.
​
However (speaking from experience!), I know sometimes the road from idea to book can feel like a bumpy process.
​
What I offer is a skillset that gives your unique voice a good shot at connecting with your intended audience.
My help can provide some emotional perspective in areas outside your lived experience, help tie up any loose ends you may have missed during your writing process, and bring an experienced, constructive eye as you put your best foot forward in query letters and agent page requests.
